ADAS Calibrations
All technicians prior to installation must pre-scan each vehicle detecting any previous faults preventing recalibration.
  • Static Calibration
    • Using specific targets that match the year, make and model ensuring the camera attached to the windshield is properly matched to OEM specifications.
  • Dynamic Calibration
    • The vehicle is required to be driven to recalibrate lane keep assist system (LKAS). The camera is aligned by reading the lane patterns until successfully completed. 
  • Dual Calibration
    • Both Static and Dynamic calibration is to be performed requiring a successful calibration.
A post scan will be done after each vehicle to ensure the vehicle is properly re-calibrated.

Here at Auto Glass Professionals, we take the extra step to certify our technicians on our calibration software to ensure a successful calibration on all makes of vehicles. It is important to choose the right repair shop and make 100% sure the vehicles A.D.A.S. features are properly calibrated. Calibration is a required part of the windshield replacement process because the new windshield may have moved the view through which the cameras look. The slightest movement in replacing the windshield from OEM specs, may cause failure in your A.D.A.S. feature. Proper A.D.A.S calibration can take a considerable time depending on the circumstances (leave a window up to 6 hours to complete.)
